Hello!

While Isekai Publishing doesn't launch until 2023, we have an exciting project in mind for our future. We wanted to put feelers out there, and see if anyone was interested. And if so, who and what would work the best together.

Twisted Tales, A Future Imprint Of IP

The Details: This will be a series of dark, tantalizing takes on fairy tales. We want threads of romance to maximize marketability, and a medium heat level. Strong heroines, and jaw-dropping alpha males. World building is a must. We encourage different relationships in this series: MF, MM, FF, FFM, MMF and beyond. Themes such as BDSM are accepted.

Switch up roles in the stories, change the sexes of the characters. Be creative. Be bold. Horror, fantasy and paranormal elements are welcome. Make your proposal original. We are ALWAYS willing to work with new authors, who have a determination to succeed. They must also possess a willingness to commit to a rigorous marketing plan, alongside constant development and lots of support from our team.

The intended books will range from 25-35k. Eventually, the books will go to print, in sets of two or three. The total amount of books is yet to be determined. Only ONE book will be accepted per fairy tale, so if you have a preference, get your proposal in soon.

This Imprint is different than our others. The series will consist of different authors (Think 1001 Dark Nights). We have hired an art director for this series to create all the images. She and the owner will have deciding factors on the cover art, for continuity.

What You Have To Submit: A proposal sent to melissa@isekaipublishing.com including a query letter (please research how to properly write one), and a minimum of one page outline of your proposed story--but we prefer prolific outlines that let us sink into your muse. To sit in the corner as you create a tapestry that addresses all five senses.

Fairy Tales We Are VERY Interested In (Think Brother's Grimm and Hans Christian Andersen, Not Disney, Please):

Alice In Wonderland

Rapunzel

Little Red Riding Hood

The Little Mermaid

Sleeping Beauty

Snow White
